I use KDE Connect and my phone and laptop are connected to the university’s WiFi. The IP address changes when I go to a different room and even in the same room it changes once in a while.
Every time I have to manually find my computer’s ip address with the command ip address and manually connect to that with my phone.
It would be nice if KDE Connect computer app automatically got the ip address of the computer, and displayed a QR code that I could scan in the phone in order to connect.
Do you think it will be a good idea? If so, I will create a bug report in https://bugs.kde.org
