How to set custom icon size on Aurorae Window Decorations?

As far as I can tell, the size of the icon on an Aurorae titlebar is based simply on the height of the titlebar. Is there any way to force a theme to use the 16x16 icons irrespective of the titlebar height? I ask because I am setting up a Windows XP-style global theme and need 16x16 icons.

Consider this image: the Firefox icon on my taskbar has the correct 16x16 icon, and I’d like to use that on the titlebar as well.

If that aurorae theme has an rc, you could fiddle a bit with the layout. Like button width/height. For example, some random aurorae theme.

…………………………some xp-ish aurorae theme

I set ButtonWidth and ButtonHeight as 22 in the window decoration’s rc file….but this controls the width and height of EVERYTHING on the titlebar. I do not want the titlebar buttons to also be tiny.

16px

Is there any way to control the application icon’s dimensions INDEPENDENT of the buttons?

No, don’t think so. I quickly fiddled a bit with button size and titleEdge stuff.

What theme are you using exactly? I just picked a random one.

I am using the Expose window decoration: Expose - KDE Store

What can I say, unless I totally forgot something, the size is the only option. This set to 20 btw.

Sure, margins and such make a difference. But overall, it’s size….that counts  . The default button size of those xp themes is huuuge imho.

Some docu: https://techbase.kde.org/User:Mgraesslin/Aurorae I’m sure there’s more on “making an aurorae theme”.
