How to tie Gnome/GTK application style to general light/dark theme

I have switched my Plasma theme from dark to light, but the Gnome/GTK application style remains set to “Breeze-Darker”. Is there any way to couple the overall light and dark theme to light and dark GTK styles?

What I desire to achieve is:

  • Switch Plasma theme to light: Gnome/GTK style is switched to a light style, too
  • Switch Plasma theme to dark: Gnome/GTK style is switched to a dark style, too

In my system, this does work. Which version are you using?

That solved it, thanks. I realized that “Breeze-Darker” must have been set by myself some time in the past. Setting it to just “Breeze” makes the GTK style follow the system style.
