How to transition OUT a clip in timeline WITHOUT affecting other clips

Hola! To be precise, I would like to transition OUT a clip in timeline WITHOUT affecting any other clip in timeline. Is it even possible with Kdenlive?
I’m working with a video which includes images which I would like to dissolve OUT as sand but I cannot find a way to dissolve it OUT the images.
Thank you so much in advance for helping.

Wdym with that? Does @Eugen_Mohr’s suggestion do what you want?

Thanks for the suggestion. I already knew about this article on how to fade in/out clips. Unfortunately that isn’t useful to me but I recognize that’s the closest I can get to my goal on this matter.

I want a clip in timeline to transition out like it turning into sand, ideally… However it could be acceptable if I can get it at least dissolved or wiped out from LEFT to RIGHT.
I know I can use the following upper clip to transition in and replace the previous clip BUT there isn’t another clip in timeline so I just would like the current clip to turn into sand and disappear from the video.

I wasn’t quite sure either what you meant at first when you said “WITHOUT affecting any other clip in timeline” - but if you just want to transition a “single clip to black” you can set the ‘composition track’ of the transition to be the ‘background’. Or you could transition to a colour clip or similar if you don’t want to end at black …

Thanks for helping, Ron! Thing was actually pretty intuitive. I made it almost identically as I planned by using Dissolve composition and applying “Cloud” transition effect for 2 sec over the clip that I wanted to “vanish” out from the timeline; what is important is to position the composition Dissolve at the final 2 secs of the clip to vanish letting the clip visible exactly the duration desired. Thank you all for the collaboration.
