I can't remove application from panel

The operating system is Kubuntu 25.10. Plasma is 6.5.5.

I added second panel to left side of desktop. That created a panel and about 10 applications buttons to it. Then I tried to remove them. Some of them disappeared, but some of them not. And I can’t find any method to remove them.

If I push mouse right button there appeard a menu. And there append and manage applications. But that has not remove/delete. Or it doesn’t work.

You could fix that not working feature.

If there are files where I can edit, tell me how to remove second panel applications.

Can you take a screenshot of this, so we can see what you do?

I am going to guess that you have added a stock panel, which has the system tray widget and the Task Manager widget? These will mirror the items from the first panel, at least initially.

My suggestion here is to delete that second panel, then add a new, empty one. Then you can add exactly the widgets you want to use there.

Oh, that was the point. Now I tried empty panel and it works fine. This thread can be deleted.

Actually, you could go ahead with that default panel as well, if it’s a good starting point for the new panel. All you need is to right-click on an unwanted app icon, and select “Unpin from Task Manager” or, if it’s a widget (like “System Tray” etc.), right-click on an empty spot on the panel to select “Show panel Configuration”, and then move mouse over the panel items/widgets, and select “Remove” from the context-menu.
