I made a script to upgrade subtitles to titles

the script should be following the alignment set by the template, maybe yours is set to align right ?

but since this is for subtitles should i just make it always center the subtitles instead? i can’t see why anyone would align subtitles left or right.

It seems the alignment is not saved in the title template. The parameter content alignment is always 1.

Left/center/right alignment seems to be calculated and stored in parameter position.

The script starts with the text always at position x.

thanks for letting me know. I’m working on some tweaks for the script so I’ll take this into account.
btw do i just create a new topic to post the new script ? cause i can’t edit this post anymore.

hey guys, i updated the script. there was a bunch of bug fixes and some new features:

  • template text and duration can be anything
  • ability to choose from multiple srt and template files in directory
  • auto align to middle
  • change font color
  • set max characters per line
