Icon of symlink app not showing in start menu

I’m deploying an AppImage via AUR. The AppImage has an icon, but it doesn’t show up in the start menu.

/usr/share/applications/player432hz.desktop contains

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=432Hz Player
Icon=player432hz
Comment=Plays music in 432Hz
Exec=/usr/bin/player432hz
TryExec=/usr/bin/player432hz
NoDisplay=false
X-AppImage-Integrate=true
Terminal=false
Categories=Audio
MimeType=
Keywords=

/usr/bin/player432hz shows an icon in Dolphin but it’s a symlink to /opt/player432hz-appimage/player432hz-appimage.AppImage

How can I get the icon to show in the start menu?

First, welcome to the KDE Discuss Forums.

In the application’s Desktop file, you may have to either explicitly define the path to the application’s icon or, link the application’s icon file(s) to a suitable ‘/usr/share/icons/’ subdirectory.
