Ideas for UX improvements in Glaxnimate

The UX is awful in the glaxnimate

I am trying to wrap my head around the EDIT ←→ SELECT mode

  1. Scale and size are not displayed in the same place at the same time

  2. Select has sometimes auto swap into edit mode but not back

  3. You can do stuff from edit mode in the select mode

my proposed solution: get rid of the edit mode. it’s too confusing.

It’s not clear what first time user should do to fix this

Hi, @mattbas thanks for the app. Love your work, but the UI could be much better. Friction motion graphics app has much better UI. But it only supports SVG and has no plan to support Lottie format similar to Glaxnimate. Please, give extra attention to UI to make it more professional.

It would be helpful to have specific suggestions (ideally reported at Issues · Graphics / Glaxnimate · GitLab or https://bugs.kde.org/ )
