I have my system wired to an HTPC setup. Compuer → HDMI → Receiver → HDMI → Television.
The problem I’m having is that when I tell the system to “power down everything”, Plasma pops up the “are you sure? Waiting 30 seconds”, but when the receiver/tv powers off Plasma sees this as a state change worthy of interrupting power down for, so the computer never powers off.
How can I modify Plasma’s behaviour on “monitor power off/disconnect”? In my scenario seems fairly obvious that a “screen off” event during logout/shutdown request should not cause the request to abort.
I’ve dug through the Settings menus for power and screen configurations but didn’t find an option that seemed relevant.
