I'm kind of fed up with the text insertion popup

Hello, I’m an English learner and I’m trying to write the answers in the blank of a question.

When I selected where to put the text, I have to go through this “annoying” popup just to insert a text, instead of entering directly in the box.

Can somebody change this to something other than a popup? It’s way too annoying.

the author of that PDF could have places a text field there for you to type into.
