Image retention bug on IPS Panel

Heya. im not sure if this is a KDE Bug or Wayland or maybe just my Monitor that im using.

Im using a BENQ EX2510 monitor that is having some image retention issues on very specific circumstances, its not even the typical image retention but i dont know how to describe it better. On certain Dark Background there are Vertical Lines that appear and kinda “burn in” the current image if it says up for too long. and then it starts to flicker badly for a bit until it slowly fades away.

I noticed that i can temporarly “fix” it by change my monitors Contrast and/or Color Saturation setting, but its not a one stop fix. it might be fixed on a Website with some black and dark theme but it appears inside Minecraft when its getting dark again.

Things that i’ve also noticed is. Its only happening on wayland. its not there on X11 and not on Windows either.

my GPU is a 3080, but it also happend years ago on the old 1080.

I’ve been able to narrow the issue down to it having something to do with the color profile. on the standard KDE setting the lines appear. but when i set it to “prefer color accuracy” it appears to be fixed. this only happens on wayland (kde and gnome). im not sure how to provide more help without assistance.
