Impossible to use wayland

Hi,
sometimes I try to login using wayland instead of X11 to check how the wayland development is progressing but, today, after a massive update I did (I was on holiday for some weeks), I’ve tried to login using wayland but Neon uses always X11.
Is it something known?
How should I check what’s going wrong?

These my software details. (it’s in Italian but I think it’s quite understandable)

What login manager are you using? For KDE with both X11 and wayland to be an option, you’d probably want to use sddm login manager.

Running this command would suggest which one is in use if you don’t know the manager:

systemctl status display-manager
