Intense lag from sorting folder by size

I’ve been experiencing intense lag and system freeze upon trying to sort my downloads folder by size (around 4k files) which started making my computer fans go full throttle and also lagging my computer to an unusable state.

While the intense lag was happening, I managed to open a system monitor which showed me hundreds of wrestool processes which upon a quick search seems to be some kind of windows binary data extractor. My download folder had hundreds of windows binaries as this used to be data from a windows drive (drive itself is btrfs).

Deleting the .exe files seems to have removed the issue.

Note that this only happened when sorting by size and not by name/modified date.

I wasn’t sure on how to more thoroughly inspect this issue to make a useful report on the bug tracker.

I wonder what will be the side effected of uninstalling wrestool
