No, unless there is a major Plasma upgrade, maybe? You are still on an old version here, so that isn’t likely.

What specifically looks different?

my wall paper
the color of synaptic package manger went from dark to white
my task bar changed aesthetically
my task bar went from bottom to top
apps missing from my task bar
kolour paint menu button disappeared
settings as a whole itself and in setting actually I don’t see the volume max to 150% it capped at 100% volume
There’s more but they come to mind. Thanks for your question.

It looked like xfce environment at first I had to check to make sure it was KDE that how much the difference looked to me. I starting to acclimatize myself to the new look though.

This seems like a distro-specific issue, and you might get more focused help posting on the distro forums rather than KDE forums.

For example, this user also had issues (more severe than yours) with a recent Parrot 6.4 upgrade:

I agree, especially if this is a distro that normally is in a read-only state. I was leaning towards a user permissions/ownership problem, but never looked into the distro very deeply.

I greatly suggest using a normal distro, not a more niche pen-testing system.
