Is it possible and safe to run Plasma when using the rescue kernel?

Per the undermentioned, I’m only able to boot into a rescue kernel currently:

I would consequently like to reinstall my OS, but do not want to attempt to transfer my data off it via the (bash) CLI. Consequently, can I run startplasma-wayland without it breaking things further?

startplasma-wayland doesn’t work – it expects a non-existent QDBus connection.

I’ve yet to try dbus-run-session startplasma-wayland, but I expect it shan’t either.
