Is it possible to make plasma keyboard's shift key behave like the common default?

Is it possible to make plasma keyboard’s shift key behave like the common default? It’s really messing with my muscle memory that it doesn’t behave like any on-screen keyboards I’ve ever used my entire life for daily work, which is that the shift key has three states and not two. Where the first shift state will only apply to one key, and only the second will apply permanently, and the third one is off.

It seems like instead, it just stay always on until toggled off.

Thank you! I don’t know how to post over there, but it seems to lack the three mode variant. I’ve fascinatingly never heard of the long press way, even if it may be common.
