Is it possible to set a custom datetime format for the Locale / Region & Language?

Hello!

In System Settings → Region & Language → Time, I really liked the C setting because:

  • it’s in English
  • the short date format was “YYYY-MM-DD”
  • the time region was an acronym (e.g. “CEST”)

But recently, the short date format is now “D MM YYYY”. As such, I looked for different English time formats, and found the “English (Sweden)” setting (en_SE.UTF-8) which has the same short date format… but the time region is no longer an acronym (e.g. “Central European Summer Time”).

So, it seems there is no setting that fits my wishes. I was wondering if it was possible to make a custom one? Any help or question is welcome, and thanks in advance!

In System Setting look in the Region & Language page.
You should be able to set the format you want there.
