Is Telegram summoning KDE File Picker from the temp folder a Telegram or KDE issue?

Some rare times it starts at the Desktop folder like I expect.
But most times it opens from here:

/home/tuti/.local/share/TelegramDesktop/tdata/temp_data/

You can do some investigation, if you like:

  1. Install a program named Bustle (available via Flatpak or your package manager) and launch it.
  2. Press the “Record” button and select “Record session bus”.
  3. Open the file picker in Telegram.
  4. Press the “Stop” button in Bustle.
  5. Click on the “Filter” button next to “Record”, deselect everything except “Portals” in the top-left panel.
  6. Click on the first org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser.OpenFile message in the center pane, and check the “Body” part in the right pane: if it has a current_folder item, then the folder is set by Telegram. Otherwise, it’s the KDE portal backend.
