Is there a way to remove the confirmation prompt for software input control?

I use Steam Link / Remote Play a lot and every time I want to control the mouse with Steam, I have to stop everything I’m doing and confirm that on my PC. Is there a way to give Steam a free pass to control my mouse without a confirmation window?

You should be able to set this toggle in System Settings >> Application Permissions:

Weirdly I only had Legacy X11 App Support and not Application Permissions > Application Permissions (yes, two times). I had to install flatpak-kcm for the option to show. Regardless the package name it shows all the apps.

If it’s greyed out, don’t search for it, scroll down to find the option instead. In other words clear the search bar

Also this should work better, though this is less secure for the system:

I thought it was fixed but apparently not. Do I need to set this for each game individually? What about games that don’t show up in the list? Are they X11?

Would be easier to figure out if it actually told you which app is asking for permission

Have you checked the checkbox that I sent above too? Not for individual apps / games. The “Allow without asking permission” one

That works. I didn’t think it would help with the applications listed in the other menu but apparently it does
