I’m trying to fully replicate the windows 7 experience with the “aerothemeplasma” theme, but one thing that’s definitely missing is the click sounds that the file explorer had, and the window minimization sound. I have these two on hand, but I want to know how I can add them. Is it possible through a script? Or is there an actual way to add more sound events other than the ones in the system and applications?

plasma has lots of sounds already, but many of them are turned off by default (at least on my distro).
you can go to settings > notifications > configure
to see a list of all the different applications and services that have any kind of notification.
then under most there is a configure button where you can see a list of the events supported by plasma
for instance under Discover there are half a dozen events that could have sound associated with them… there does not seem to be anything for dolphin tho, unfortunately.
Supposedly the system for applying custom sounds is still in there just getting to it can be a pain. A dev is going to need to weigh in.
