The use case that brings me here is Waydroid and wanting to use a fullscreen app. I was envisioning a script that can make the waydroid window ignore the desktop’s rotation and set the android rotation via adb, but that entirely depends on being able to put the laptop in tablet mode but keeping that specific window from rotating.
Yes, I tried that too. Doesn’t actually work for every window.
A better option would be to disable auto-rotation in KDE for me and control the rotation inside Waydroid using ADB.
