Is this intended functionality in Discover or a bug that should be reported?

I noticed something odd when I was doing some testing and was curious if this is intended behavior.

These screenshots are from kubuntu. When the source selected is “Ubuntu” the source dropdown looks like this:

When the source selected is flathub, snap is removed from the list:

When I select snap, all the options are removed and you can only install from Snap

that would seem like a bug to me… what is kinfo say?

on my plasma 5 i can see all three options for VLC regardless of which one is selected or installed.

It is a clean install of kubuntu 25.10 in a VM so there is nothing interesting there:

Operating System: Kubuntu 25.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2
Kernel Version: 6.17.0-14-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 6 × AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core Processor
Memory: 5.9 GiB of RAM (5.7 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: llvmpipe

i would file a bug report at bugs.kde.org
