Issues with kate, .kateproject.build AND target set not saving.

Cachyos, plasma(6.6.5), wayland
kate version: 26.04.1

I’m new to Kate
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Kate
  2. go to build
  3. create new target set
    issue “Cannot save build targets in: /.kateproject.build” Appears
    And closing and opening kate resets the custom Targets

So the solution was just to make an empty “.git” file in the folder where “.kateproject.build” and “.c” were
