Before Plasma 6.7, I rarely see the bouncing app icon while apps are launching, yet now its a constant part of my computer life. I assumed that the issue was about my installation, yet reinstalling did not help either.
I am on Fedora 44 Kinoite and running it under an old Laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 cpu with integrated graphics, yet have not had a similar thing on Plasma 6.6, am I the only one who is experiencing this issue?
Sounds like it time for upgrades. Better performance awaits on ebay.
I honestly forgot that the apps bounce when opening.

While I plan to buy a computer in the near future, the reasoning behind it will certainly won’t be that an upgrade on Plasma version, that is usually the playbook of Microsoft, not Linux.
But here is my system specs:
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.0.12-201.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 5 7520U with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 8 GiB of RAM (7.0 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 610M
Manufacturer: HP
Product Name: HP Laptop 15-fc0xxx
Note:. RAM is soldered in so cannot be upgraded.
I do not think that my computer is too old to run a modern desktop environment.
My drive is an NVME, I would say that has been used for 3-4 years.
But again, I am having these issues since the upgrade, and it only launches slowly, functions fine afterwards.
Same issue on X11?
Maybe try a different theme.
