KDE Connect- Help Needed for a Fresh Install

Hello,

On Ubuntu Studio 20.04 my KDE Connect v 1.4-Oubuntu5 has problems listing previous text messages as it used to.

When I right click on the KDE Connect Indicator > Select SMS Messages the KDE Connect SMS window opens but instead of listing my frequent phone numbers with their related messages it only shows Filter… but the remainder of that field is blank.

I’ve uninstalled KDE Connect from my Ubuntu and deleted the folder .config/kdeconnect and the KDE Connect on my Android v 1.23.2, reinstalled both but the problem persists.

Any ideas what to try next?

The solution was to select within the Android program to allow SMS messaging.
