"kde crash reporter" reporting window appears to freeze

When Discover crashed, the “kde crash reporter” appeared. I went through all the steps and clicked the [report] button.
The “reporting” window remained open with the small rotating image for over three hours and had to be closed manually.
I have checked the “bugs kde org” site and my bug has not appeared.

  1. If it must go through a triage process, how long before I should check back to see if it indeed was reported by the crash reporter.
  2. If it should be listed after 3 hours, I may have 2 bugs to report.
  3. I do not know if the window should have closed with a message or not confirming the report had been received.
  4. If someone could clarify what I should have seen when the report was successfully submitted that would help.
  5. I would appreciate the benefit of someone’s experience and expertise.
