KDE Matrix Not Allowing New Signups

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to sign up for KDE’s Matrix instance, but it seems like new signups are currently not allowed. Could someone please clarify why this is the case and if there’s an alternative way to join?

I’d appreciate any guidance on how I can connect with the community or mentors through other channels in the meantime.

You can join KDE’s matrix rooms with an account on any matrix server, e.g., matrix.org

Registration on our server is closed since we don’t have the resources to host everybody
