So today, after playing for a few hours narrator went insane started to describe everything on the screen, I can see, and I don’t need it. I tried to turn it off from the system settings to no avail, but it just kept going, restarting the system was useless, and trying to kill it from the system monitor was useless, it kept starting itself over and over and over.
After driving me insane, I did a sudo apt-get remove espeak-ng-data, it stopped for a second, just for the dummy to start saying over and over that it was not able to do something, after driving me crazy a second time, I checked system monitor and speech dispatcher was still there, so mistakenly I went ahead and did a sudo apt-get remove speech-dispatcher, doing this apparently destroyed everything else. I am pretty sure my system is dead, is there a way of getting it back without doing a new installation, and out of curiosity I know that the narrator is there by default for people who need it, but why would it be made in a way that removing it completely breaks the entire system any help is appreciated
