Speaking as a normal user with experience in Forums.
If someone didn’t know from the announcement that there’s “Sponsored Work” in KDE, many people would actually not know about it from this forum. I can only go to that section because I sent the link to a friend once and thus have it in my whatsapp 
I suggest making it more obvious (having the direct link to right under the development section / Having the direct link also on your Bugzilla so people filing reports also know about it, if they want their bug to be fixed quickly).
Agree the Sub Categories are a little bit hidden.
