Kdeconnect no shares URL

Hello.

I have asked this question in the Hispanic section of the forum but that seems to be pretty dead, so I am asking it here again. Forgive me if this duplication, even in different languages, is frowned upon here:

The URL sharing from Android (13) to KDE 6 (6.2.5) does not work. From day to day it stopped working when a couple of months ago, or so, I did it perfectly. Now, if I’m looking at a web page on the mobile, I tap to share on KDE Connect, I choose my computer, nothing happens. It does work the other way around, from PC to phone, though.
Has the function been removed and the KDEC interface not been updated accordingly or is it a failure that I should report?

Thank you.

This text is software translated, so I hope you will be understanding of the possible nonsense.

Hi - I don’t really use KDE Connect in that particular way, but one question to maybe help diagnose things a bit: when you try sending from phone to PC, are the devices already visibly paired together and actively connected?

In other words, if you look on the PC’s list of devices in the widget, does the phone show up as connected/available?

Yes, as I said, the reverse - from the computer to the mobile by integrating Plasma - works perfectly; and other functions like sharing the clipboard or files from the phone, too. It’s just sharing a web page from the mobile to the computer that fails, and Remote Entry (I don’t know if in English the name is exactly like this, I mean the function to use the mobile as a mouse to handle the computer with.)

Thanks for your time, anyway.

Well, even though my devices were linked and mutually visible, your suggestion that the problem might be related to pairing made me think, so I have tried unlinking and relinking them, and surprisingly now URL sharing from the phone works again, not so Remote Entry, which still doesn’t work at all; but this doesn’t matter to me because I never use it.

I guess my problem is more or less solved then. Thanks for making me think about the pairing, I guess it’s wise to renew it every so often.
