Sorry for my English, but I will try to express myself as best as I can.

My s.o is Debian 13. Since version 24.01, Kdenlive has several bugs : The rendering line doesn’t disappear even if you press the button " remove all preview zones ".

When you apply lift-gamma-gain effect, the window effect always appears small, it doesn´t resize, in this case the colored circles. So it’s difficult to find a color or apply a numerical value because everything looks so small.

At last, in Debian 13, appimage Kdenlive you can’t render and export with AMD Vaapi. In fact, it doesn’t appear in Timeline Preview menu project or Hardware Accelerate Experimental menu rendering.

I’m sorry to hear you are having difficulties.

Please provide screenshots of your timeline with the rendering line present, the effect panel for the LGG effect, and the render profiles for VAAPI. Thanks!

The known VAAPI problem is this: Appimage Version Does Not Support Vaapi Hardware Acceleration - #4 by Ron

It’s what we’ve been discussing about the Craft builds. But if you’re not seeing it in the render profiles, you’re probably missing some system deps/drivers or suitable hardware.

I did video capture but i can’t upload so i can upload photo capture.

Yeah Ron, it’s very strange. In Debian 13, warnings appear about AMD integrated graphics driver when I start Pc, but in OBS I can use the integrated graphics recording, but they don’t appear in Kdenlive.

Thank you for the wonderful editor! I use it since 2013 for making music videos. I know this is against the rules but could you please take a look at this bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=511525? This bug was introduced only in 25.08.2 and it’s very annoying.

Yeah, we are aware of it, it is due to the latest Qt upgrade. We’ll hopefully fix it for the next release. Thanks for opening the bug report though.

It was also reported in another thread on the forum, see here for more explanation: Imported video has no audio track, but has audio in media players - #3 by Ron

Oh, right - this one is with dragging from the Monitor, not from a file browser… and does indeed look (at least somewhat) like a different root cause.

That is a different issue though

The issue in this forum topic has not yet been resolved.

Was it ever reported to the bug tracker? Because if not, this remains just as true:

The behavior of the Lift/Gamma/Gain effect was changed here.
Currently, the color circles don’t expand when you increase the widget size.
