The issue in this forum topic has not yet been resolved.

Was it ever reported to the bug tracker? Because if not, this remains just as true:

The playhead is moving outside the visible timeline

And you’ll probably continue to unless someone reports a bug … This is the right place to discuss and triage “problems”, but not to report and track actual confirmed bugs that need code changes. It’s not the right tool for that.
