Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2 OS Build 26200.8246. System Model: Katana 15 HX B14WGK Kdenlive version 26.04.1 (installer and standalone) and 25.12.3 (installer). It doesn’t matter what I choose (New Project, Reset Configuration, etc) it will not launch. I’ve installed any pending system updates as well as the latest Nvidia graphics drivers.

Do you have VST plugins on your computer installed?
If yes, please try the daily standalone Windows build which contains a fix: https://cdn.kde.org/ci-builds/multimedia/kdenlive/master/windows/ (the 7z file)
The other problem could be Windows 11 “Smart App Control” which Kdenlive could block .

I do not think I have any VST plugins installed on my computer but the standalone build would still not make it past the splash screen.
I have disabled the “Smart App Control” settings and tried the installer, standalone, and the daily build (7z and .exe), but none make it past the splash screen.

I just tested the 26.04.1 standalone version and it took 20 seconds until Kdenlive is open.
Executable and standalone both crash.
IT company’s software was removed and the latest version works, marking as resolved. Thank you for the help!
