Kdenlive [Effects and Filters: Alpha, mask and keying] Backgroundkey

Hi my name is Veronica, and I’m learning Kdenlive and while I was reading the manual, I wanted to try Backgroundkey but I couln’t find it in Alpha, mask and keying. Searching I found it in Misc Effects. I took a capture so you can see it, sorry it’s in spanish, and sorry for my english.

Hi Veronica, welcome to the forum and community.

Thanks for pointing this out. This seems to be a bug or an inconsistency, because Backgroundkey should be in the Alpha, Mask, and Keying category. Misc usually has effects that haven’t been categorized (yet) or when the latest version of frei0r or avfilter (ffmpeg) libraries include a new effect we were not aware of.

Which OS and Kdenlive version do you use?
