With so many requests for solutions in the forum, you might think that Kdenlive only ever causes problems. Those for whom the video editor works well usually don’t post anything. That’s why I’m writing this topic.
Over the last 5 years, I’ve edited about 150 short videos. In the end, the images and sound always turned out the way I wanted them to, and I didn’t have to compromise on anything.
Of course, there were often glitches, and some effects had real bugs (Lift/gamma/gain, Bézier Curve, Normalize (2 pass)). But now I can say quite clearly that all the important functions of Kdenlive really are bug-free for me.
Kdenlive has come of age and now meets professional requirements.
And it’s important to say this openly: the team is doing a great job.
Many thanks to everyone involved.
