Kdenlive locks up soon after adding image/clip to project

WHY does every return do a double-spaced line feed?

Soon after lauching kdenlive it just locks up, how can I TS for the reason and a fix?

SSD:2x Samsung 4tb

Monitor:BenQ PD3225U Mobiuz 4k

Sound=Boss-GX100 effects board with SEND port plugged into motherboard back-panel Line-In port and Sennheiser wireless headphone plugged into front-panel HeadPhone port.

Software=OpenSuse-Tumbleweed using Plasma6 & pipeweire, Audacity-3.7.5, VLC-3.0.21.

Primary objective=to play guitar and hear it live with only OS and nop particular software application running.

If not already done try with the AppImage from the download page: Downloads - Kdenlive

This to see if there are any incompatibilities.

Installed the app-image but it’s even worse; instead of just a kdenlive lockup either kdenlive or all plasma locks and I need to do a 3-finger exit.

After the last tumbleweed system update the issuse seems to have dissipated :slight_smile:
