Kdenlive not seeing my camcorder (IEEE1394)

Hi everyone,

Installed dual boot Zorin 18 pro and WIN10 on my old dell XPS435/9000.

The issue I am having is that Kdenlive is not seeing my camcorder (IEEE1394 -Firewire) for capture.

dvgrab is working , But I would like to use the capture feature in Kdenlive.

Hi @fc227, and welcome to the forum and community.

Kdenlive stopped supporting DV capture via Firewire a long time ago. Please use dvgrab independently and add the captured video to a Kdenlive project.
