=======
Kdenlive will not display the video from within, no Monitor Preview video is visible.
However, everything else is loaded.
This happens with installations from Debian repository, and flatpak, and the AppImage.
Did try installing and reinstalling Nvidia drivers, installing extra codecs, and all to no avail.
I did not have this issue with Debian 12.
It is similar to this post issue:

[no preview]
Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a nice life!
As you can see in the images above the preview is not working, this is happening in the flatpak version as well, the only one working for me is the Appimage. This was also happening in 25.12.1. What is going on? Should I report this as a bug? Or is there something else going on here?
My system:
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel V…
Any suggestions on how to tackle this issue?
Thank you

I am more than happy to supply logs for this KDE and non-displayed video within the preview panel issue; or at least, if pointed out where and which logs I should be looking at.
Thank you

X0X0:
Issue is that Kdenlive had to be ran as sudo:
$ sudo kdenlive
And I was able to get the preview to load the video.
Thus issue is resolved.

X0X0:
$ sudo kdenlive
What do I need to change the permission for Kdenlive?
How to run Kdenlive as the user instead of sudo?
Thank you

X0X0:
$ sudo kdenlive
If I run Kdenlive with:
$ sudo kdenlive
Then I do get the Preview Panel video loading/showing; but no audio is loading.
However, if I run Kdenlive with current user:
$ kdenlive
I only do get audio loading within Preview Panel; and no video is loading.
Is it a “groups” issue? If so, how do I correct this?
Thank you
Please try the 25.12.3 AppImage or Flatpak (both available from the Kdenlive Downloads page) or wait for 26.04 to be released (ETA is this week).
