I’ve been using the Dvorak keyboard layout (on up-to-date Fedora KDE) for years (yea, unto decades), but I’m finally fully exasperated at the inability to use that layout at login. (Yes, I can change the keyboard at login, but Dvorak is no longer one of the available selections UNTIL you’ve logged-in. IIRC in USED to be, years ago.)
I’ve tried this on HP, Dell and Lenovo laptops, with no success.
Dvorak has been removed from the selection before login. It’s part of the dictionary definition of frustrating.
Q: Who can I complain to? Fedora? KDE? The laptop manufacturers? The problem seems to involve a lot of components/people, potentially.
