Keyboard language is english on every reboot

Hi there,
since last week, every time I boot up my system, I have to change my keyboard from English (USA) to German. After a reboot, the keyboard is back to English.
This behaviour is on all my 3 machines, Desktop, Laptop and at work.
Is there any way to set my keyboard to German layout permanently?

Do you have fctix5 installed? Seems like you are running into:

System default keybord is us. I add my own layout, so that I have two and after reboot it’s reset back to just us. My added layout is fine.
