kioworker using up all my RAM seconds after launching

So I’ve been having a crappy experience since two days ago when I updated my KdenLive and I didn’t know why.

Checked the Task Manager and voilà we have a process kioworker.exe using up all my RAM, it climbs up steadily until it crashes everything:

I’ve no idea what to do, I managed to stop the crashes by killing the task on TM, but I’m not sure if that’s going to break the software while I’m using it.

Anyone else experiencing this?

My specs:

Ryzen 7 6800H

40GB RAM 4800MT/s

RTX 3060 140W Laptop

2TB KC3000 NVMe (I had a warning about my storage space being a bit low, but I’ve since cleaned up a bunch and don’t get any warnings)

I’ve submitted it, I figured it was a bug at first, but I saw that I should send it here before submitting a bug report.

Hopefully it can be fixed soon!
