Klassy messed up my window decoration

A very strange issue occurs for me with klassy.

I have set a class for klassy without window decoration. This worked for months without any problems.

  1. Klassy settings:

Actually you have to put a tick in front of Class to get the result. Nothing changes whether the checkbox is checked or not. Very strange indeed

  1. Window identification

Yesterday I wanted to undo everything to test it, but it doesn’t work. I cannot restore window decorations.

In Breeze or other window decorations, I can set a class without a window decoration as described above without any problems, and then undo everything so that I have a window decoration again.

Something was probably overwritten, and I can’t figure out where or what

Does anyone have an idea?

Maybe @paulm knows something about it and how it came about. I’ve also tried reinstalling and deleting everything relevant. Something is no longer right

Any help appreciated. Thank you

EDIT: I’ve already asked in the Endeveorus forum. That was my first port of call.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information on how to solve the problem with the missing window decoration.

I have no choice but to reinstall… :person_shrugging:

Not sure what exactly you want to achieve here but if you don’t remove that, there will be no window decoration.

I had already deleted that. However, there was no change. I no longer have any klassy window decorations

Switched back and forth window decs? Maybe a logout/in?

Already done. There is something messed up. Dunno what.
That’s why I brought @paulm into the first post to see if he could say something about it. I’ve tried everything, really everything. klassy reinstalled. logout // login. build from source, install from AUR. I really tried everything. Something is messed up

Tried to untick the “breeze original” yet?

Of course it is tick off

Well, as a last resort I’d make a backup of the rc ( ~/.config/klassy), delete the original and see what gives.

And I thought I’d tried everything. Oh man, just delete the *.rc files and restart Plasma. That’s helped so many times before. Why didn’t I think of that? Thank you a thousand times for that.
