I have kmymoney 5.2.1 running from AppImage and all is running well.
My comdirect-account asks for a TAN as user-reconfirmation every 180 days and the pop-up says “Please enter the TAN for user … See graphics”. This graphic should be scanned with the photo-TAN-app for the TAN-Code. But the graphic is not showing up! So at the moment I can’t reconfirm my user in kmymoney and so cant download the postings from my comdirect-account.
Anyone else with similar problems here? How can I solve this?

I saw the same problem running using master versions (KMyMoney and AqBanking) installed (no AppImage) once recently with Norisbank which equally did not allow me to see the color pixel of the Photo-TAN.
I logged into my account using the banks web frontend to check if there was any change. After that, I was able to download transactions from KMyMoney without being asked for a Photo-TAN. In the following, I was able to perform a payment out of KMyMoney using the Norisbank account and the necessary Photo-TAN was shown and the transaction executed.
I don’t know how to solve this. I have a strong feeling though, that this is a problem originating in AqBanking.
Hello, thank you for your answer. I also logged into the banks web-app to look, but in my case sadly this did not solve my problems with kmymoney. Perhaps I should try to install kmymoney from the deb-package to check if this is a problem of the appimage. But the deb-package in my distribution is an older version (5.1.3)
It’s certainly not a KMyMoney problem, but one that is located in AqBanking (if at all). Due to the changes with the VOP (Verification of payee) and the switch in data representation by a lot of banks last October, only newer versions of AqBanking will work. So I don’t expect a significant difference between the AppImage and the the installed version.
