Sorry I don’t use correct names because I use a German setup with KDE. But I didn’t manage to get a “sub windows” in konsole (a tab in konsole). On control panel with right mouse click of konsole there is an option like new sub tab in konsole but only a new konsole starts.
There are two different actions (which also have shortcuts).
One for a new window, one for a tab.
I think CTRL+SHIFT+N will open a new window, CTRL+SHIFT+T will create a new tab
Thank you and yes, CTRL+SHIFT+T will create a new tab. But still no luck creating a new tab with mouse.
Try changing the desktop app so that the exec reads “konsole -–new-tab”.
You might wanna fiddle with the “run in a single window” setting though.
You can enable the “main toolbar” which has buttons for these actions
OK, and thank you very much. Works as desired.
Sorry for asking, but this
Kubuntu 25.10 Dolphin: adding new device
is still open.
(I’m only asking to make KDE better…
Perhaps these minor issues will be resolved in the next update… or it could just be a configuration problem in (German) Kubuntu.)
No idea about that one, sorry
