Konsole "--tabs-from-file": Avoiding extra empty tab at the end

Hi all,

I’m using the wonderful “–tabs-from-file” command-line option to open pre-configured tabs.

It works fine (currently running Konsole 21.12.3 in Kubuntu 22.04), but for a number of “n” configured tabs this command always opens “n+1” tabs, i.e. one additional “empty” tab with a regular prompt.

Is there any way to avoid this behavior and only open the tabs that were actually configured, without the additional empty one? Alternatively, is there a workaround where I can automatically close this extra tab immediately after spawning?

Thank you and kind regards,
Chris
