I’m having a weird issue with KRDC where I am able to connect to a remote computer with no issues on the low and medium quality settings. When I try to connect with high quality, however, the view from the host computer is broken and unusable. I am still able to use the remote computer, though. I can see the mouse moving on the remote computer and I can interact with it. Only the view is broken.
The view from the host computer almost looks as if it’s trying to render the host’s screen (my screen) instead of the remote computer screen. Screenshot provided.
The two computers in question are on the same network and are both on Ubuntu 25.10 with KDE Plasma 6.4.5.
In this screenshot, the mouse and window you are seeing are from my host computer and not the remote computer. When I launch the session it is just a blue screen.
