Hey!
I am using KStars to track planets in our solar system to view them with a telescope. Since the telescope is not very well made for objects that move quickly through the lense i want to use KStars to evaluate the future position of it.
Now i can archive that by just setting a future time! However that will pause the simulation (:
I would rather like to use the softwares trail feature. It is described in the manual as to draw trajectories on the screen.
I have so far manually added a trail by right clicking the object and then the Add Trail button. I have also used the keybind which is T. I have also checked out the Settings → Solar System → Orbital Trails and ensured that the feature is enabled. I have also moved the time around as the manual states that they may only show after the time has been played with.
But unfortunately i am unable to get any trails to show up and i simply think that i may have missed something (:
