KWayland Integration requiring Qt 5

Hello, I’m trying to build KDE Plasma 6. :slight_smile:

I have a question regarding kwayland-integration: despite having branch names indicating it is ready of “Plasma/6.2” and stuff, it’s CMakeLists still requires Qt version 5…

To me, this is either:

  • This component is no longer important/required for Plasma 6 to work perfectly (with Wayland).
  • The porting is not finished yet.

If this is the second option, I volunteer for helping on the porting. :slight_smile:

Please see this page for an explanation:

kwayland-integration remains Qt 5 only as its features have been moved into kwindowsystem, this is still released and should still be packaged for compatibility with Qt 5 apps.
