This is a question for the devs:
I am using both the quick tiling and also the custom tiling function. I like both of them very much and in terms of functionality, everything I need is there. The updates in the latest Plasma versions added per-desktop custom tiling which is just perfect for me.
My question: What are your plans going forward with these two features?
I can see from other threads and my background of software development that merging the two is very hard and probably unfeasible. There for example will never be a one-stop solution for keyboard shortcuts with complex custom tiling scenarios.
But did you think about aligning the features visually? For example: I love the gaps you can add in the custom tiling editor. Do you have any plans to allow this for quick tiling as well?
