Hey everyone, I’m running Debian 13 with KDE Plasma DE on my Lenovo X390 Yoga convertible. I installed Maliit keyboard for the tablet mode and it kinda works. However i have the very annoying problem, that when the keyboard is opened it seems to tile all open windows with the keyboard so they all get resized to like half size vertically. When the keyboard is closed only the active window is returned to the normal size. This is very annoying because i often have to windows open side by side, one for browser/research and one working environment and every time i use the keyboard in tablet mode i have to re-snap the right window to restore the normal size.
First i thought it was a Maliit issue but now i found the plasma-keyboard and it is causing the same issue so i think its rather a KWin problem? Is there a away to tell the window manager to not tile the virtual keyboard but overlay it or something so it doesn’t resize my windows?
